What kinds of things do sales support?

All purchases from The Studio by Pea Flower Tea help support survivors get access to art. That includes things such as free classes, supplies, and general support for The Studio so we can continue to offer direct impact in our communities.

Further, specific collections are released to help raise funds for progressive causes. These causes are listed in each individual collection, and include spaces such as Planned Parenthood, The Human Rights Campaign, The Trevor Project, RAINN, The National Suicide Hotline, The Bail Project, Black Lives Mater organizations, and other humanitarian and progressive causes.

What is your sliding scale about?

Pottery is sold on a sliding scale to help ensure that art is always accessible, regardless of someone's personal means. A sliding scale lets people choose for themselves what's best for their situation.

Supported Access
This pricing tier is for people with limited financial resources who will benefit from access supported by our community.

Fair Access
This tier is for those who have sufficient financial resources and wish to pay fair value for our pottery pieces.

Rebalancing Access
This pricing tier is for those who wish to support access to our pottery for others to help rebalance systemic inequity.

Some of the pottery pieces have a flower badge in the upper corner. What does it mean?

The flower badge in the upper left corner of product cards means that this specific piece was thrown as a means of healing during a full flashback.

These pieces will have more information about what that creation process embodied in the product description, and may include links to the blog for further information regarding that piece's creation process.
