This mug is decorated with sculptural moss and ceramic crystals made to look like green aventurine around the base of the mug. It's glazed with a bright sea green, which enhances the deeper greens in the crystals and moss.
I made this mug in community at my local pottery studio in a class about altered wheel forms. The teacher inspired me to go bold in my design ideas and encouraged the introduction of these sculptural crystals into my designs.
It is my hope that when you drink from this mug, you feel brave enough to try something new in your creative life. May it bring you courage as well as magic.
