Add some whimsical charm to your home decor with this Heart Dish with Water Etched Florals. Crafted in a lovely blue green hue, this heart-shaped dish is adorned with intricate floral designs etched in water. Perfect for displaying trinkets or using as a catchall, it's both functional and aesthetically pleasing. 

Water etching is a creative process in which the design is hand painted on with wax onto bone dry pottery.  When the wax is dry, you gently wipe the raw clay with a damp sponge.  Slowly, the areas of exposed clay are eroded away, leaving a textured design where the wax protects the clay.  It's a fascinating process that leans heavily into meditation and patience.

This dish is one in a set of heart-shaped dishes made and fired together.  Many of them warped a bit in the kiln, landing them in my Bumpy Limes collection.  Please remember that Bumpy Limes are beautiful all on their own, just like people are.  They may not lie perfectly flat, or they may have surface imperfections.  That's ok.  We're all built differently, and we all have differing abilities.  ❤️
